This is a compelling and thought provoking set of short stories that focus on relationships, between men and women, cousin and cousin, mother and daughter, and even the character’s relationship with themselves. The plot moves you along at a steady pace and even though you jump from story to story with each chapter, you can clearly see the parallels and the points being made throughout the work. One of my favorite aspects of this work is the author’s way of involving the reader, leading you to draw your own conclusions and connect the dots. In this way you feel connected to the stories as if you were a part of them. It’s very moving and leads you to reflect upon the choices you’ve made throughout your life.
While this is a quick read, I found myself still thinking about the work for quite a while after finishing it. I found it extremely relatable.

Raisin in the Sun edition by Billy McCoy Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Beautifully imaged, both heartbreaking and hopeful. Anyone wishing to broaden their perspective will certainly benefit from these stories. A wonderful and emotional glimpse into unfamiliar lives
The stories were interesting and I read all of them, however the spelling and grammatical errors really detracted from each story. As a former teacher, this really bothered me. Needs some editing.
There was only the forward, no content of the book. Hopefully I can download the full version and read it.
Very interesting book; character development is exceptional and it is easy to get wrapped up in. The plot synopsis is covered pretty well in the other reviews. No need to rehash. I recommend the book and the author is definitely worth following.
These stories are actually quite good. There were interesting twists in the plots that held my attention. However, I was amazed and appalled at the plethora of grammar and punctuation errors. It definitely distracted me from an otherwise good read. Did no one edit this book?
I love anthologies of stories. This book did not disappoint whatsoever. Billy McCoy accurately demonstrates the plight of fully human characters. I always love to see humanness portrayed in the books I read, and McCoy does an excellent job of portraying this. Since there is more than one story, I feel like I got a lot for the cost of the book. I particularly related to the book as a woman as well, and you will too after you read it!
When i read this book it doesnt bored me at all. I enjoying reading this book in a peaceful room because i like it so much. This book has alot of interesting things going on on each chapter which makes you want to read more. If you like to read something about loving and romance then this book is great for you to enjoy reading. I highly recommend to buy this book and give it a try. I'm sure you would like it
